As the project’s owner and a Connecticut resident, being able to depend on the entire W.A. Rose team made my job infinitely easier. I learned to depend on their strong communication skills, high-quality work and project oversight. They checked to make sure that deliveries were made, that subcontractors showed up. I was impressed with their ability to deftly manage the project through some local permit issues that could have been problematic. The W.A. Rose team clearly takes a lot of pride in their work, in still doing things the right way.
-- Randy Bauer, Director / Chief Operating Officer, New Apostolic Church USA
We enjoyed working with the fabulous W.A. Rose team to build the Portal to the Arts at the Lesher Center for the Arts in Walnut Creek. Their attention to detail and ability to communicate were impressive. They were a joy to work with every step of the way.
-- Peggy White, Executive Director, Diablo Regional Arts Association
We chose W.A. Rose Construction for long-overdue repair work on our union hall. The work included eliminating dry rot, painting the entire facility and replacing the roof’s perimeter. We are very pleased with the professionalism, timeliness and quality of the Rose team’s work. Our building not only looks great, but is now a safer place for our members.
-- Marty Frates, Secretary-Treasurer, Teamsters Local #70
Carpenters Union Local #713 would like to thank you, your team and the subcontractors who performed the flood damage repair work at Local #713 Union Hall. W.A. Rose Construction brought the project in on time and on budget. When we had to move the active Finance Office, it was coordinated without lose of time due to the careful planning and coordinating of the work with their subcontractors. We will give W.A. Rose the opportunity to work for us in the future. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
-- Clifford Drescher, Financial Secretary, Carpenters Union Local #713
W.A. Rose completed a complicated structural repair and remedial restoration. They were very efficient, construction was completed in a timely manner, and the finished product was of excellent quality. We would definitely use them again for a similar job.
-- Judy Graboyes, Associate Director of Asset Management, EBALDC
I have worked with W.A. Rose for more than 30 years, and they always deliver quality and timely work. Job sites are orderly and professionally managed. They work around our schedules, meeting budgets and timelines. We call W.A. Rose for projects both large and small because they consistently deliver.

Everything looks so great. We feel incredibly fortunate to take this vacation during construction. You do such a wonderful job that we need not worry about anything, just look at photos of the lovely results. Thank you!
-- Nina F., Piedmont Homeowner
I was looking for a contractor who would really listen to me, a partner. As a pet-grooming business, I had some unique requirements—surfaces needed to be waterproofed and durable. I was impressed with the W.A. Rose team and their open and collaborative approach.
-- Caitlyn S., Owner, Leading the Pack
Our project received approval in March to renovate four classrooms and one office, which gave us a short timeline to create new working spaces for our students. From the start, Rose Construction did a wonderful job of listening to our needs and giving us the confidence to move forward with the project. Not only were promises made but promises were kept from the leads of the project, Jocelyn Newell and Barry Reite. Both took the time to support me through the project. Although plans were very sketchy, they worked with the school to get the project done on time and done correctly. Major setbacks such as a concrete wall contained in an internal wall and a complete change of floors in our science rooms never set the project back and Barry always took things in stride. The support of Lisa Curroto also needs to be mentioned; she kept us on track with payments and provided necessary paperwork to get the project done. The result is that all spaces created by W.A. Rose Construction are what we hoped for and came to expect. I would recommend Rose Construction for any high school project and be pleased to have others come take a look at what has been done at Moreau Catholic.
-- Tom Alcott, Moreau Catholic High School
We met with Rose and liked that they were local and had a history of working on small commercial projects like ours. It came down to personalities—they were believable in their approach to the project, and we felt that they cared. When they were on vacation, they called to check in. They were problem solvers and excellent communicators. We are very pleased with Rose Construction’s work.
