We completed tenant improvement projects for Viator, a San Francisco online travel company now owned by Trip Advisor, and Baygreens Restaurant in Oakland. We also worked on a structural upgrade for the Madrone Hotel, an affordable-housing complex in downtown Oakland

Our experience renovating schools and community organizations began during W.A. Rose’s early years, and our management team remains responsive to these frequently time-sensitive school projects. Our school and nonprofit project clients include:

Recent and/or returning clients include Oakland’s Holy Names University, St. Felicitas in San Leandro and Hayward’s Moreau Catholic High School. We met the owners of Oakland’s Madrone Hotel, EBALDC, at a business event, where we learned about their project for structural/seismic upgrades as well as fire-damage repairs. We bid on this job and were delighted to be awarded the contract. The repairs ensure that the hotel is safe and secure again for its low-income residents.

Our residential projects range from whole-house renovations to completing a punch list of small-to medium-sized repairs or custom projects for longstanding clients. Our expertise includes:

We transformed a dated Berkeley bungalow, converted a San Francisco row house into a Craftsman-style jewel, remodeled a Piedmont bathroom and reengineered an intricate Piedmont deck and staircase.
